About Me

First off, thanks for being here! My name is Leah and I currently live in Utah with my little family: my fiance, Christopher, and my fur baby, Freddie. My fiance and I work full-time for a ring manufacturer finishing men's wedding rings. In my free-time, I make moss decor! I love nothing more than being creative and coming up with new enchanting green products to fill your home or office and planning unique adventures for myself and friends! All while indulging in all things crafty and DIY. 

Each earthy product on my site is finished/repurposed by myself! My creations are meant to bring the lushness of the outdoor forest inside, giving you the natural feel of greenery! I hope that you equally receive the visual pleasure of these handmade moss products as much as I do! 

Why 'Earthy Emporiums"? I chose this name because the word 'emporium' by definition refers to a trading post, establishment, or market of classical antiquity, in which goods and services could be traded. I like this phrasing a lot. The way I see it: I can transform the average forgotten pieces that sit and collect dust and upcycle them and give them a new life and purpose all while supporting small businesses.  Creating this new vibrant, green, natural styled decor is something I will continue to cherish; I mean, who doesn't get excited when they see beautiful fresh moss in the outdoors??
